Motorcycle Tribute

Bob spent 21 years in the Air Force retiring as a Tech Sergeant. He spent a year in Thailand supporting the air war in Vietnam. While in the Air Force, Bob built a show bike called "Honolulu Harley." It was the first ever show bike with a totally engraved engine and transmission, with many trophies to show for it. After he retired from the Air Force, he moved to Vancouver and drove truck for a while. In 1981, Bob opened Bear's Bike Barn in his garage, specializing in Harley Davidson parts and accessories, particularly shovel heads. He had the shop for over 30 years until his declining health took him away from it.
